St. John’s Lutheran Church is a congregation in the Nebraska District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The congregation traces its history back to the year 1898 when Pastor J. D. Schroeder of Zion Lutheran Church in Worms, Nebraska began services in Palmer on Sunday afternoons. The congregation was organized on September 22, 1901 as St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, U.A.C. of Palmer, Nebraska.
